jumped to the conclusion that you had an AT. But, yes you still have the power to get your car into the low 12s if not the high 11s (but that would have to be with real sticky tires, and you would risk breaking your NA axles). For those guys with NA diff.s that want to be aggressive at the dragstrip, yet don't want to be towed home with broken axles, there is a little work you can do to strengthen them. Find an aircraft quality shot peening shop (not automotive but someone that peens aircraft parts), and have them shot peen all parts of your axles from the flanges that go into the diff. (this is where they usually break) to the axles themselves. This should improve the strength of those parts "significantly". I was told by a competent automtive engineer, that it will double the strength of the parts. Even though I botched my initial response to you (manual trans not auto), the jist of the message is the same...optimize your 60' times to get the best 1/4 mile ETs. Those 4.08s will serve you well with some Mickey Thompson ET Streets or MT drag radials. But like I said, you need to be aware of the weaker diff. parts (the axles especially) and either role the dice or take my advice above. Good luck, Mark
